TKO – Two Face Totem
Practice: Designer Toy
Materials: 8-inch FOOMI vinyl base, hand-cut board, acrylic paint, found objects, thread, and feather elements
Process: Additive construction over a vinyl base using layered, hand-cut components to build a radial head structure. Painted and assembled in stages, with linework and surface detailing.
Edition: One of one, Art Without Borders exhibition, Blind Whino, Washington DC
Created as part of Art Without Borders, this piece marked the first physical expression of an imagined world called The Kwiet Observers. Built around dual viewpoints and quiet vigilance, the totem form reflects the idea of watching from multiple angles at once. The exhibition raised funds for Doctors Without Borders, aligning the work with a broader effort to support humanitarian aid beyond borders, belief systems, or politics.
